Club Fair!

Looking to become a bigger part of the DCC community than you already are?  Make sure you come to the Club Fair Thursday January 29.  DCC has over 30 clubs for all interests and I am sure you will find a group that interests you.  Like video games?  Join the Gamers Guild.  Like to write?  There is Lit Mag and The Chronicle.  There is also Rap, Poetry and Music.  There are political groups and groups for history buffs too.  Like I said - there is something for everyone!

There are lots of benefits of joining a club too.  Sure, it looks great on your transfer applications, but it makes you feel so much more connected to the school than just attending classes could ever do.  You get to make new friends too that feel the same way you do about your chosen interest. Each club gets to give back to the school is some small way - whether hosting a dance, or a reading, or even collecting coats for people who need them.  Its a great way to become involved.

Besides, coming to the fair and visiting the tables entitles you to a free lunch in the cafeteria! That's right!  Free lunch!

Come to Drumlin Hall on Thursday, January 29.  The fair runs from 12:30 to 2:00.  Be sure to stop by the Lit Mag table and say hello!  We'll have copies of last years Lit Mag to give away and I'd love to hear what interests you at DCC.  I am pretty sure it just not the free lunch. Right?
