Don't even ask where I've been, and I can't even stay, but I just wanted to let you know about this special DCC event -

DCC's Performing Arts Program presents this lively, riveting, humorous and tragic play based on real trial transcripts, personal correspondence, and interviews, telling the true story of the downfall of famous writer Oscar Wilde whose artistic genius was overshadowed by scandal involving "the love that dare not speak its name". This important play brilliantly explores issues of civil rights, personal rights, and censorship of the arts. Performances are Thursday April 16 through Saturday April 18 at 8pm and Sunday April 19 at 2pm in the James and Betty Hall Theatre. Tickets are $10 with a $5 ticket price for DCC students/faculty/staff, other students, and senior citizens 65 and older. The play is for mature audiences teenage and older. Tickets will be sold at the theatre half an hour before show times. Open seating only. For further information call 431-8696.
There is lots going on and much news to share, to keep checking here for updates. I promise there will be one soon.
Enjoy!
