It seems almost unfair that my last two weeks of classes at DCC (ever!) should be so filled with homework, essays and presentations! I mean, how is a graduate supposed to have a good time if she's busy, busy, busy?
Well, thanks to SGA and some committee work I did over the past month, the students at DCC will get to take a little break and have some fun too! Today we proudly present the DCC Volunteer Fair! Several local volunteer organizations will have tables set up encouraging students to sign up as volunteers, while all around them will be a real fair going on complete with games, pie tossing, cotton candy and a barbeque! Just like the sign says - Have Some Fun!

I think we could all use a little break, but I won't be able to stay long before I'll have to get to the Writing Center (which you would think would be very busy this week, but it's not people so go there and let somebody assist you with your final essays!).
And before I even get to go to the fair, I have to open an email with the powerpoint presentation my group will be presenting on Thursday in my Statistics class and make sure the slides are like we planned them to be. I am sure they are, but another set of eyes never hurts.
Our presentation will be based on the data we collected by observing the soda and candy machines in the Washington Science Building what seems like so long ago now. I think we'll be fine!
So yeah, last two weeks of classes very busy, but sooooo worth it! Three weeks until graduation! Yay!
