We'll be going out with a bang tonight. First, the final. She already told us what to expect and what to study, so I am expecting to do well on it. I'll also have all afternoon to review my notes and index cards before the test. I bet I'll be fine.
Then we are all going out for dinner at a Mexican restaurant on Main Street, Poughkeepsie. It's a small place called La Cabanita, but I was promised the food was excellent. The only catch is that I have to order in Spanish. Let's practice, "Yo quiero la margarita. Yo quiero fajitas." See, that should be simple too and maybe la profesora will add points to our final if we do it well?
This class became a group of some sort. As with most of my other classes, by the end of the semester we all became a group of friends. There was always laughing and chatting in the hallways on our breaks. We watched one woman's stomach grow with her fourth child the past four months, and we surprised ourselves at how much we understood la profesora's stories by the end of the semester. It really was a lot of fun.
Adios clase de espanol 101. Es muy divertido.
